Latex multiple columns package
I tried some codes, none of them worked. Given a basic table, and varying the column descriptions:. LaTeX can dynamically decide how long the lengths should be. Type H for immediate help. Unsurprisingly, the commands necessary have to be embedded within the table data itself. So, an example of this is the following. Default is tbp , which means that it is by default placed on the top of the page.

Thanks for any help you may be able to provide. I do not want to create a two-column layout for whole document, only for part of it. See the dcolumn package documentation for more information, but a simple way to use dcolumn is as follows. The first parameter is the maximum width. I also took the liberty to clean up your table a bit. See here for a similar question. Such situations could be common in documents that require translations and definitions, which may also includes lists. The table environment is also useful when you want to have a list of tables at the beginning or end of your document with the command.
